Recent Updates

November 2009

Unfortunately due to our editor being out of the country for a few months content is still somewhat lacking. Look out for a revamp in the new year!

April 2009

Content on the site is still on the slow side but keep checking back as we will be adding lots of sparkling new content by mid June 2009!

February 2009

We are having a few teething problems with the site but bare with us and we should have the pictures back up in no time!

January 2009

Unfortunately, updates have been a bit on the slow side recently due to commiments with the editors degree
Keep an eye on the site but it is going to be on the backburner for a couple of months.

July 2008

Subversion plans to link to Komodo Rock shortly in order to cater for a wider range of music news and reviews.
Other news: we plan to provide an online platform for a zine which existed in 1992 called Revolting.

February 2008

We have recently added the following sections:
Forum in association with Klubber and Performance to cater for all things dance.

January 2008

Subversion is soon to combine with Klubber, an alternative event forum site. Visit it here.
An official section in Misc will be appearing shortly.
December 2007

We have introduced a new section called Subversion Global - here we look at the alternative scene all over the world.
*COMING UP* we look at the scene in Berlin, Germany.

Other sections we have reacently introduced:
People - we take a look at people who may not necessarily get recognition from barmen to tattoo artists.
Fiction - we introduce some dark stories to the site.

All these can be found under the Misc section.

Coming up, Subversion recommends, on December 2nd - a Punk vs Metal charity gig for World Aids Day called 'The Money Shot' 8quid for 8 bands, all dayer plus burlesque dancers, poll dancers and human suspension during King Lizard's set.

Its nearing Halloween and Subversion is FINALLY starting to come together, any writers and photographers who want to get involved send us an email or use our contact us page! The more people to get involved the better as content is our main priority at the moment!

We are still looking for writers and photographers to get involved and help the site to take off sucessfully.

We now have a logo, courtesy of Dave who runs Slagfight, every Thursday at the Old Kings Head in Holloway Road. (This has been suspended for now so try Havoc every Sunday evening at The Purple Turtle instead).

June 2007

After a long awaited time we are finally hoping to get the site up and running officially in the next week. We are still working on a logo and as soon as we have an image Subversion will be accessable to all.
