If you're looking for an alternative experience when it comes to hair and make up styling, look no further than Pepi's, located in the redeveloped area of the Camden Stables market. They specialise in hair extentions and you are instantly surrounded by a surreal looking shop with many different colours and styles of synthetic and natural hair hanging on the walls. The staff are friendly and efficient. They are thorough whilst washing your hair and as you relax at the sinks you get to look at a white ceiling with red spots painted on it. After washing or preparing your hair you are taken over to the styling chairs and a row of large mirrors in front of you are surrounded by flowers and painted limbs from Barbie dolls. Even the staff look the part with their brightly coloured well groomed hair and extentions. They are quite flexible and do anything from a standard haircut to insanely large coloured hair extentions. All this takes place whilst a heady mix of noise and electronic music plays in the background. Prices start at £30.
