Subversion attended Boozin of the 5000 in New Cross over the weekend, we caught both Saturday and Sunday but the winning band for us by far was Monkish, who played on the Saturday afternoon.

Plus one returned as a new night at The Lord Nelson on Holloway Road on 12th July.

Nasin was packed out last week celebrating it's fifth birthday in the form of a pirate party.

So it seems that Sedition at Mass has already come to an end.

On Saturday 28th June Subversion checked out Euthanasia, the debut of a metal burlesque night, at the Luminaire in Kilburn. As a concept, a burlesque night alongside metal bands had not been done before, it was an interesting twist moving away from traditional burlesque but it seemed to work.

Sedition is a new club beginning tomorow at Mass in Brixton. It is the return of the people who bought us Full Tilt (for those of you that can remember. It is to be on the second Friday of each month. Will this bring competition to Sin's new night Sanctus? We will soon see.
