Unfortunately due to our editor being out of the country for a few months content is still somewhat lacking. Look out for a revamp in the new year!April 2009

Subversion plans to link to Komodo Rock shortly in order to cater for a wider range of music news and reviews.Other news: we plan to provide an online platform for a zine which existed in 1992 called Revolting.
What's happening to alternative Camden?
Posted January 9th, 2009 by HazelLiving ten minutes from Camden High Street, I pass through the area more or less every day. Since the ban of magic mushrooms, the whole atmosphere of Camden has changed. Now I’m not saying I necessarily agree or disagree with the ‘shrooms, but the lack of them has definitely contributed to the change in the place that once was the alternative hub of London.

The Kominas are a Punjabi punk band from the US. We have never come across a band like it, with tracks like Blow Shit Up, Walqeada Superstore and Suicide Bomb the GAP, this is not a band for wallflowers.
Boozin of the 5000
Posted September 9th, 2008 by HazelSubversion attended Boozin of the 5000 in New Cross over the weekend, we caught both Saturday and Sunday but the winning band for us by far was Monkish, who played on the Saturday afternoon.
